Simon Fraser University head coach Mike Renney reached a milestone 500th career win in women's softball last weekend.
Renney earned the historic win at home with a two-game sweep over Western Washington at Beedie Field on Saturday.
The Clan scored an 11-1 win in the opening game and then got by Western Washington 7-5 in the later game.
"They all add up pretty quick," said Renney in a school press release. "I'll probably remember that one for a while. The athletes played well today and I'm happy for them."
Cara Lukawesky came out in the seventh inning to record Renney's 500th win.
