Simon Fraser University has a mountain to climb in its B.C. Intercollegiate hockey final against Selkirk College this weekend.
The Clan club team advanced to the best-of-three playoff final series with back-to-back wins over Thompson Rivers University last week. SFU opened with a 6-1 win over the Kamloops club at home last Friday before heading up the Coquihalla for a 5-2 series-ending win on the Saturday.
The best-of-three finals get underway today (Friday), with Game 2 slated for Saturday. If necessary, a Game 3 will be played on Sunday. All games will be broadcast live and can be viewed at bcihl.fasthockey.com.
