Brent Fletcher of New Westminster is riding a threegame point streak with the Merritt Centennials into the B.C. Hockey League Interior Conference semifinal playoffs.
Fletcher assisted on Evan Stack's game-winner in a 3-1 win over the Prince George Spruce Kings at the Nicola Valley Arena on Saturday.
The second-year Centennial forward sparked a three-goal Merritt first period with his first goal of the playoffs in a 4-1 win over Prince George on Friday.
On Monday, Fletcher helped the Cents take a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven semi, helping out on Dylan Chanter's early second-period marker that gave Merritt a 2-0 lead. Merritt went on to win the game 4-3 in overtime on Stack's extra-time winner.
