Trevor Sidhu of New Westminster won a gold medal with Team Canada at the World Ball Hockey championships in the Czech Republic last week.
Sidhu scored two goals and added a pair of assists in five games for the unbeaten nationals following a 1-0 victory over Slovakia in the under-18 men's final.
The team's only flaw was a 1-1 draw versus the host Czechs in the opening game of the competition.
Canada's u-20 team also came back with a gold medal, edging the Czech Republic 3-2 in the final.
Canada topped Pool A despite a 1-0-2 record, including draws with Slovakia and the host Czechs.
The u-16 squad won a bronze medal 2-0 over Switzerland. Canada's teens lost 4-2 to the Czechs in the semifinals.
