The Burnaby-New West under-14 ringette team trounced Surrey-White Rock 6-1 in a provincial qualifying game last week at Burnaby Lake.
Ratana Wang and Rosa Warkentin led the offence with two goals and an assist each, while Caleb Cho and Orianna Lui scored once and set up two others.
The two teams meet again later this month to wrap up the regular league schedule.
