Burnaby hockey players placed five skaters on the B.C. Hockey League's list of top 50 as voted on by the fans.
Glenn Anderson, who played on the Bellingham Blazers, and former Langley Lords forward Ryan Walter made the class of 1970.
Cliff Ronning, who got his start with the New Westminster Royals in 1982, and Burnaby Winter Club product Paul Kariya, who played for the Penticton Panthers from 1990 to 1992, were also selected.
Current NHLer, Kyle Turris, who recently signed a new two-year deal with the Phoenix Coyotes, was among the list of players from the 2000 era.
The list was voted on by the fans over a six-week period, with 10 players selected from the past five decades.
