Adam Musil of Burnaby signed a Western Hockey League contract with the Red Deer Rebels following the major junior club's prospect camp last weekend.

The 6-1, 183-pound Burnaby Winter Club forward was drafted in the first round, sixth overall by the Rebels in the 2012 WHL bantam draft.

Musil scored 58 goals and garnered 98 points in 60 games with the Western Canadian champion winter club Bruins last season.
