B.C. championship final on line tonight

Tyrell Hamer-Jackson and Anthony Malcom both scored their second goals of the game to lead the New Westminster Salmonbellies to a 9-6 win over Coquitlam to tie the B.C. Junior Lacrosse League best-of-five final playoff series at two games apiece.

Hamer-Jackson tallied the go-ahead goal at 6:54 of the third period off a turnover in the offensive end.

Less than three minutes later, Malcom followed with an unassisted goal of his own off a loose ball to put the home team up 7-5 with a half a period remaining at Queen's Park Arena.

Steven Neufeld, who leads all Adanacs with 11 playoff goals, shaved the deficit to a single goal with his second marker of the game, but Jeremy Bosher re-established a two-goal advantage for the junior 'Bellies with his 11th of the playoffs.

Daniel Perreault iced the win with a goal into an empty net.

New Westminster's Ross Bowman got the win in goal, making 35 stops in his first playoff series start.

The win tied the series at 2-2. The fifth and deciding game will take place at the Coquitlam Sports Centre on Sunday. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
