A's and Lakers swap Burnaby players

The Burnaby Lakers sent holdout Kevin Olson to the Coquitlam Adanacs for defender Mike Gilmore and a secondround draft pick in 2012 in a Western Lacrosse Association trade at the deadline last week.

The Burnaby Lakers sent holdout Kevin Olson to the Coquitlam Adanacs for defender Mike Gilmore and a secondround draft pick in 2012 in a Western Lacrosse Association trade at the deadline last week.

Olson, a former WLA rookie of the year and three-time league all-star, played three games last season with the senior A Ladner Pioneers.

Gilmore, a former first-team B.C. junior A all-star in 2008, played the last two seasons in Coquitlam. He was the second overall pick of the Adanacs in the 2009 entry draft, picked up in the third round 20th overall.
