Woman wanted by B.C. police has a New West connection

B.C. police are searching for a 22-year-old woman wanted on charges that include robbery and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

A 22-year-old woman wanted by B.C. police on various charges recently breached a release order in New Westminster.

Julia Blackwell was added to Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers "most wanted" list today, April 10.

A warrant for her arrest took effect on Tuesday, April 9, for charges of robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats and breaching a release order.

B.C. online court services states Blackwell was charged with one court of breaching her release order, situated in New West, on March 26.

This occurred nine months after breaching an earlier release order in Chilliwack, where Crime Stoppers explained is her current parole jurisdiction.

Blackwell is described as:

  • 141 pounds
  • Brown hair
  • Blue eyes
