You may vote in the New Westminster general local and school trustee election as a resident elector if you:
1. are a Canadian citizen;
2. are, or will be, 18 years of age or more on general voting day (Saturday, Nov. 19) - must have been born on or before Nov. 19, 1993;
3. have lived in B.C. for at least six months prior to registration (May 17, is the last day to meet the residency requirement if registering on general voting day);
4. have lived in New Westminster (or owned property in New Westminster for a non-resident elector) for at least 30 days prior to registration; and
5. are not otherwise disqualified from voting by law.
