2 Here's one you don't have to leave your house for: The New Westminster and Archives recently uploaded more than 1,000 images from Frank Goodship, a photographer for the city's old newspaper, The British Columbian. To check out the collection, go to archives.newwest city.ca/search.aspx and enter "Frank Goodship" in the Fonds/Collection Name field. 3 Get stimulated on Friday, Jan. 6 with The January Series, a live Internet video feed of 15-day speakers' series. The talk is from 9: 30 to 10: 30 a.m., at the New Westminster Christian Reformed Church, 8255 13th Ave. in Burnaby, but it's close to the New Westminster border. Free admission. 4 Get familiar with your eReader. The New Westminster Public Library is offering free eReader clinics on Saturdays, throughout the month of January. Drop in during library hours to 716 Sixth Ave.

5 Get bonding with other parents at New Westminster Family Place on Friday and Saturday, 9: 30 to 11: 30 a.m. The centre's playroom is open for art, songs and healthy snacks for children. Parents can talk to a family support worker or borrow toys. For info, go to nwfamily.bc.ca.
