New Westminster Secondary School’s musical theatre foundations class presents Annie Jr.

Saturday, Jan. 20

Disney’s High School Musical: One Act Edition

Friendship Club Gaming

Enjoy an afternoon of board games at the Friendship Club Gaming event, where you can choose from a wide selection of board games or bring your own. This event is produced with support of grants from the City of New Westminster and Neighbourhood Small Grants.

  • When: Sunday, Jan. 21, 1 to 6 p.m. (and again on Sunday, Jan. 26)
  • Where: River Market at Westminster Quay, 810 Quayside Dr. (second floor, beside Vancouver Circus School)
  • Details: Come any time after 1 p.m. and play as long as you like. Face masks aren’t necessary, but they are recommended.

Until Jan. 28

Wishing Tree

Make a wish on the Wishing Tree, sponsored by the BC Parks Foundation, before it leaves New West. For every wish made to protect nature, the lights on the tree will dance, and $10 will be donated to help preserve parks in B.C.

Paint the Train

Paint The Train, a juried exhibition, features artists’ interpretations of the railway – through a variety of mediums.
