We're continuing with our popular feature - our staff's Top 5 (Or More) Things To Do This Weekend. We've moved publication to our Friday editions. This week, we've got some Halloween fun, a whimsical comedy at the Bernie Legge Theatre, Scrabble for a good cause and a fall bazaar.

1 Get spooked at the second annual Haunted Hall, presented by the Metro Hall. This event runs each night from Oct. 26 to 31, so you'll have three opportunities this weekend to enjoy the tricks and treats for kids, hot chocolate, pumpkin patch, games, entertainment and "Haunted Hall" tours, if you dare. The event is held at 759 Carnarvon St. with net proceeds going in support of anti-bullying programs and the Purpose Society. For more info, go to www.hauntedhall.ca.

2 Get entertained for the final weekend of Spirit Level, presented by the Vagabond Players. This comedy by Pam Valentine is directed by Dale Kelly and is a charming and whimsical comedy that answers deep questions such as "Do angels really have wings" and "Are the pearly gates pearly?" Shows are at the Bernie Legge Theatre in Queen's Park in New Westminster until Oct. 29. Shows are Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m. Tickets are $15, $13 for seniors and $5 for students. 3 Get scrabbling on Saturday, Oct. 29 for the Good Words for Africa Scrabble event and craft fair, presented by the Royal City Gogos at the CAW-TCA Hall at 326 12th St. The craft fair runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., while Scrabble goes from 1 to 4 p.m. Free admission. 4 Get into Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 29 for the Kidz Halloween Hoot, at Queens Avenue United Church at 529 Queen Ave. The event runs from 2 to 4: 30 p.m. and is for children from grades 2 to 8. Admission is $5 at the door and includes movie, snacks and games. For more info, call 604-522-1606.

5 Get spending on Saturday, Oct. 29 for the Salvation Army's fourth annual fall bazaar, running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 325 Sixth St. This event features bake tables, craft tables, silent auction and fancy tea for $10. All proceeds go to relief efforts in Haiti.
