We're continuing with our popular feature - our staff's Top 5 (Or More) Things To Do This Weekend. We're suggesting you take advantage of the summer weather and head outdoors - you never know how long the sunshine will last.
1 Get your 5 dancing shoes on and enjoy Dancing in the Square. Residents are invited to dance under the evening sky in downtown New Westminster at Hyack Square on Friday, July 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. Dance instructors will be on hand to show you some moves.
This week features Zumba. The free event takes place at Hyack Square (at the foot of Eighth Street at Columbia Street) and is weather permitting. For more information, visit www. dancewithmenewwest.com.
2 Head downtown for the 13th annual Show & Shine, which features live music, food and more than 300 cars and custom motorcycles.
The free family event takes place on Sunday, July 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Columbia Street. The Key West Ford Block Party (located between Eighth and Begbie streets) includes a guest DJ, an autograph session with former NHL goalie Kirk McLean from noon to 4 p.m. and more.

3 Pack a picnic lunch and head down to Westminster Pier Park, the city's newest park. Located on the riverfront between Sixth and Elliott streets, the park features areas for running, playing basketball, riding bikes - or just hanging out in a lovely riverfront setting on a warm night.
4 Take advantage of this weekend's sunny weather and head to Moody Park Outdoor Pool, where folks of all ages are sure to have a good time.
Parents can relax on the deck while their kids play in the pool - or they can join them in the pool for some fun in the sun.
Admission to Moody Park and Hume Park pools is free on weekends.
5 Learn about the history of video games in B.C. at the New Westminster Museum's newest exhibit, which traces the history of video games from Pong to recent games made for devices like the iPhone.
The exhibit runs Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. (until Oct. 14) at the museum at 302 Royal Ave. Admission is by donation.
Guest curator Ryan Cousineau is scheduled to drop by the museum on Saturday, July 7 from 1 to 3 p.m.
