The Vancouver Cantata Singers, seen here in a previous performance at Holy Rosary Cathedral, return to New West with Christmas Reprise XVIII on Dec. 18.

If you're still searching for the Christmas spirit, the Vancouver Cantata Singers can help.

The award-winning choir – named Canada's top amateur choir in 2019 – is returning to New Westminster after a one-year pandemic hiatus. Christmas Reprise XVIII is on at Queens Avenue United Church (529 Queens Ave.) on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m.

The concert will bring traditional carols and contemporary holiday compositions for unaccompanied choir to the sanctuary for the third time, after previous shows in 2018 and 2019. The choir also brought its popular holiday concert to the Anvil Centre in 2016.

Christmas Reprise XVIII will also be performed at Holy Rosary Cathedral, in downtown Vancouver, the same day; that concert is at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $35, or $15 students and $10 for youth (under 18). You can buy tickets for both concerts online.
