A teenager has been found safe and sound, say New Westminster police.
Earlier this afternoon, the New Westminster Police Department issued a press release seeking the public’s help in locating a missing teen.
Police are seeking help in locating April Paige Nabess, 16, who was last seen in New Westminster on the morning of Oct. 19 and was reported missing on Oct. 22. April attends school in Vancouver and has been known to spend time in East Vancouver and Richmond, and may use public transit to arrive at these destinations.
April is an aboriginal female, standing approximately 5’4” with a slim build, weighing 110 pounds. She has brown eyes, long black waist-length hair. It is unknown what clothing she was wearing when she went missing.
New Westminster police are asking anyone who may have seen the teenager or knows of her whereabouts to contact them at 604-525-5411 or your local police department.
