Transit Police wants the public's help in tracking down a sexual assault suspect after a teenage girl was fondled at the New Westminster SkyTrain Station.
The alleged sexual assault happened on April 24, when a 16-year-old girl was walking up the stairs towards the New Westminster station when two men passed her as they walked down.
One of the men spoke to the girl and sexually fondled her then the two men left the station laughing. The second man did not participate in the assault, according to a Transit Police media release.
"CCTV footage shows the men entering the liquor store adjacent to the station following the assault," the release states. "It also indicates the men originally (boarded) a train at Stadium SkyTrain Station at approximately 8:25 p.m.”

The information was released in a Crime Stoppers alert, but no positive identification was made.
