The Lookout Emergency Aid Society is on the hunt for volunteers to help with Toque Tuesday.
The annual Toque Tuesday fundraiser will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at locations around the Royal City.
"We do all the SkyTrain stations at the high-volume times," said Dave Brown, community services manager with Lookout. "I need volunteers for that."
Volunteers will also be selling toques at New Westminster Public Library and Douglas College. Toques are $10 and proceeds help address homelessness.
"We have got black and red," Brown said of this year's toques. "Those are the colors for this year."
Mike McQuillan, communications manager for Lookout, said the society is short on volunteers in New Westminster to help with Toque Tuesday, a national campaign that creates awareness about homelessness and helps raise funds for programs and services that help the homeless.

CAKE FOR ALL
Bella Cakes and Pastries is inviting community members to drop by and help celebrate a business milestone.
Fabio Cornale, who owns the bakery with his wife Gina, said the business is celebrating its fifth anniversary on Friday, Feb. 1.
"It's on my birthday," Cornale added. "I opened the store on my birthday."
Following an annual tradition, Bella Cakes and Pastries will be serving free cake to all of its customers on Saturday, Feb. 2.
"It is a milestone," Cornale said of the bakery's fifth anniversary.
Bella Cakes and Pastries is located at 459 East Columbia St. in Sapperton.
NEW ROLE FOR FIN
Fin Donnelly will be keeping busy upon his return to Ottawa.
Members of Parliament have returned to Ottawa to begin a new session of Parliament. In addition to serving as the official Opposition's critic for Western economic diversification, deputy critic for fisheries and oceans, West Coast, and co-chair of the all-party oceans caucus, Donnelly is taking on a new role.
"I am assuming the caucus chair role," he told The Record. "For B.C. Caucus, I will be chairing the meetings. The B.C. Caucus meets pretty much weekly when the house is in session."
