We're continuing with our popular feature - our staff's Top 5 (Or More) Things To Do This Weekend. Here are our suggestions for the Oct. 12 to 14 weekend.

1Learn about naturopathic medicine at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine's annual open house, which takes place on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The open house features free health testings and consultations, educational talks and information sessions, and assorted free assessments.

The Boucher Institute is located at 435 Columbia St. For more information, visit www. binm.org.

Enjoy a day of fun for folks of all ages at the 2 second annual Seniors' and Family Festival that's taking place on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Royal City Centre.

The day's event includes entertainment by an Elvis impersonator and several youth musicians, a kids zone that includes face painting, clowns and a bouncy castle, door prizes and treats.

3 Have fun and learn about firefighting at the New Westminster Fire and Rescue Service's open house at the Glenbrook fire hall.

The open house takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the hall that's located at the corner of McBride Boulevard and East Sixth Avenue.

Drop by and enjoy the day's displays and demonstrations.

4 Check out the final weekend of the latest exhibit at New Westminster Museum, Pong to Pokemon: the History of Video Games in B.C. Running since May, the exhibit wraps up on Sunday, Oct. 14.

The all-ages exhibit highlights the history of video games from Pong to more recent titles that have been created for devices like the phone. Admission to the exhibit is by donation.

The museum is located at 302 Royal Ave. and is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m.

5 Hear some lovely music when the West Coast Symphony performs at Queens Avenue United Church on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
