NEXT New West is having its fourth annual Ugly Sweater Event at Moody Park Arena on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

The fun goes from 6 to 8 p.m. for a public skate at one of the best rinks in town. This is a family-friendly event so feel free to bring your little ones, organizers say. Everyone is welcome.

Admission is $1 and skate rental $2.  They will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the New West Food Bank. Skating is optional and will start at 6:30 p.m.
The after-party will be held at the new Union Jack Pub (formerly Moonrakers Pub) from 8 p.m. on.

“This part of the night will get uglier than some us trying to skate!” the press release warns.
Get out that old sweater or starting making one. The event will include prize giveaways for the most “festive” and downright ugliest sweater. RSVP via [email protected], tweet or facebook at @nextnw.
