Had enough of the April rain? You probably don't want to know what lies ahead for New West this week.
Today (Monday, April 17) we'll see the same type of weather that's become familiar: partly cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning and light rain developing in the afternoon, with a high of 10 C.
Tomorrow, though, Mother Nature may just mix it up again. The Weather Network says there's a risk of thunderstorms for New West both Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday could see as much as 20 mm of rain, with wind gusts of up to 36 km/h.
Thursday may just bring the sun back, as it's projected to be cloudy with sunny breaks, but as for Friday and into the weekend? Well, let's just say you'll probably get wet: light rain Friday, light rain Saturday, rain Sunday and rain Monday.
All told, we could be looking at as much as 80 mm of rain for the seven-day stretch from tomorrow to next Monday: up to 20 mm Tuesday, five millimetres apiece on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, up to 15 mm Saturday, up to 20 mm Sunday and up to 10 mm Monday.
The temperature, meanwhile, isn't showing any signs of warming up, as the week ahead sits at highs of 9, 10 and 11 C.
