Dining Out For Life, B.C.'s largest restaurant fundraiser is coming to New West this week.
On Thursday, March 7, three local restaurants - Old Bavaria Haus, Wild Rice and the Terminal Pub - will donate 25 per cent of their proceeds to Friends For Live and A Loving Spoonful in support of people living with HIV/AIDS.
Nearly 200 restaurants throughout the Lower Mainland have signed on for this fundraiser.
"Contributing to these charities is as easy as making dinner reservations," said Sheena Sargeant, executive director at Friends For Life, in a press release.
For breakfast or dinner, all food proceeds throughout the day will go towards these charities, which provide home-cooked meals at Friends For Life, and meals delivered to people's homes by volunteers from A Loving Spoonful.
Participating guests dining out on March 7 will also be able to enter to win prizes during the event.
