An established family favourite in Sapperton, a contemporary Mexican experience downtown and a riverfront seafood classic are New Westminster's offerings for this year's Dine Out Vancouver Festival.

The festival, which runs Jan. 14 through 31, features more than 300 restaurants across Metro Vancouver. As part of the annual foodie fest, restaurants offer multi-course set menus at a variety of price points – $20 to $29, $30 to $39, $40 to $49, or $50 to $59.

New West diners can enjoy the event at three local establishments: Gino's Restaurant, El Santo and the Boathouse.

At Gino's (431 East Columbia St., Sapperton), there's both a lunch and dinner option (both at $21). Both menus capitalize on the restaurant's Mediterranean favourites, with starters including tzatsiki or hummus and pita; caesar salad; or a soup of the day. Entrees include chicken souvlaki or roast lamb with Greek sides; baked lasagna and meatballs; or a small special pizza. Check the full menus here.

At El Santo, there's a $45 dinner menu and a $40 vegetarian option, starring the restaurant's signature diverse Mexican offerings featuring fresh West Coast ingredients. Start with some sopa de calabaza (roast squash and poblano soup with avocado crema and sunflower seeds) or pan de elote (skillet cornbread with jalapeño jelly). Work your way through some risotto con huitlacoche (with manchego cheese and micro greens) or some atun a la parilla (Albacore tuna loin with white beans and green garbanzo beans) – and, of course, don't forget the churros or salted caramel helado. There's more – check out the full Dine Out menu for the details.

At the Boathouse, you can dive in for the West Coast seafood experience the Quayside destination is known for, at a fixed-menu price of $45. Lobster bisque? Ahi tuna tacos? Fresh shucked B.C. oysters? Check. Entrees include both seafood and land-based options, including sirloin and grilled prawns, Northwest seafood pasta, mixed seafood grill or an ahi tuna poke powl.
