The New Westminster Early Childhood Development Committee will be presenting its survey results to the community on Oct. 6.
More than 120 parents living on the east side of the city responded to the child development hub survey that was circulated in June. They offered their views on programs they would like to see closer to home that offer quality time, activities for children to play and learn and a community space for building neighbourhood connections.
The committee's Sapperton Action Team will be presenting the survey findings on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 5: 30 to 7: 30 p.m. at Centennial Community Centre at 65 East Sixth Ave. Parents, community members and representatives of business and community agencies are urged to attend and hear the discussion and offer feedback.
