Herbert Spencer Elementary School is celebrating its 100th birthday, and principal Tracy Fulton wants some help from alumni.
"Planning for this very special event is underway and we hope that many alumni will return to the school to share and enjoy revisiting the past and the present," said Fulton.
"While a date has not been set yet, it will be widely advertised in the new year, so stay tuned."
For now, Fulton is trying to "gather the memories" that are held within the city of times at Herbert Spencer.
"If you attended the school or have any association with it, please share your memory," said Fulton. "It will be posted on our 'walk down memory lane.'"
People who want to participate can email [email protected], mail their item to her attention at 605 Second St., New Westminster, V3L 5R9, or drop it off at the school in person.
Your memory will be recorded and displayed for others to share, and maybe even remember.
