The Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation is looking for donors and sponsors to help raise $1.5 million for equipment needed at the hospital.
Donation Day will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to noon with a live broadcast radio show hosted by Bill Good on CKNW, AM 980.
Wesgroup Properties and Bluetree Homes, London Drugs and Telus have all contributed to making Donation Day possible through their sponsorship.
"We are always grateful to corporate and individual donors who give back to our B.C. community by supporting our hospital," said Adrienne Bakker, president and CEO of the foundation, in a recent press release. "These donors understand the pivotal role that RCH plays in the Fraser Health and provincial network of care. On Oct. 2, we will be reaching out to the whole of B.C. No donation is too big or too small. Each gift helps us inch closer to our $1.5 million goal to buy priority equipment for RCH this year."
To donate, call the donation line at 310-4000 (note, no area code needed), contact the foundation directly at 604-520-4438 or visit rchcares.com.
