It's the party of the year in the Royal City and this Thursday, from 5 p.m. on, the River's Reach Pub at 320 Sixth St. is hosting its annual customer appreciation party.
Manager Pete Saran said the 12th annual party is a chance for the pub staff to thank customers for their patronage during the year.
That means a full table of appetizers is free and there are multiple drink samples also given out.
Team 1040 sportscaster Bob "The Moj" Marjanovich is the host for the evening and there's always a bevy of great prizes for attendees.
"We'll have a stainless steel barbecue, a 50-inch flat screen television, an Ipad, an autographed Roberto Luongo jersey and a patio set that we'll be giving out that night," said Saran. "We'll also have door prizes like Salmonbellies tickets."
The party is on Thursday and it is a great leadoff into Saturday's Uptown Live celebrations, where a stage will be set up outside on Blackford Street and local bands will be playing between 3 and 7 p.m.
"It's a really different and cool way to have a celebration and we're expecting it to be a lot of fun," said Saran.
