More than 150 marijuana plants were seized yesterday (June 13) after police executed a search warrant at a home on 20th Street in New Westminster.
According to Staff Sgt. Paul Hyland, officers entered the home at 10 a.m. and executed the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant. Officers found more than 150 marijuana plants, a rifle, pepper spray, a collapsible baton and a locked safe.
One occupant was taken into custody and later released for a future court date, Hyland stated in a press release.
Police are expecting to make additional arrests as the investigation unfolds, he added.
