Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a New West man who hasn’t been seen since early Wednesday morning.

Brian Parker was last seen at his home at Third Avenue and 10th Street around 1 a.m. on Jan. 14, according to a media release from New Westminster police.

According to police, the 59-year-old has missed two days of work and has had no contact with friends or family since he disappeared.

Parker has suffered from depression for several years and left all of his medication at home, the release added.

Parker is described as Caucasian, 5-8 and weighs about 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a teal long sleeve T-shirt with a brown leather jacket and dark pants. Prior to his disappearance he was seen driving his 2009 red Hyundai Accent, licence plate HGW 632.

Police say this behaviour is out of character for Parker and are asking anyone who may know where he is to contact the department at 604-525-5411.
