Cops are investigating a stabbing at Columbia Square.
Shortly after 2 p.m. police were called to 1005 Columbia St. for reports a man had been stabbed, Staff Sgt. Todd Matsumoto told the Record.
The victim was taken to hospital with stab wounds. Matsumoto said the extent of his injuries and his current condition are unknown at this time.
As the investigation unfolds police will be releasing more information but at this time the suspect is unknown.
“I can tell you our major crime unit has been called in to continue with our investigation, as well as our forensic identification section. They’re going to be the people taking all the photographs and whatnot down there at the scene,” Matsumoto said.
