If you love magazines and newspapers, but hate schlepping them around, try Zinio (eMagazines) and PressReader by PressDisplay (eNewspapers).

Zinio offers more than 300 magazine titles to New Westminster Public Library cardholders that look just like the print version.

There's no limit to the number of issues you can download. You can read them through your browser or download the Zinio Reader app for offline reading.

Just go to the eLibrary page and look for Zinio, where you'll find PDF instructions to get you started.

Prefer newspapers? The library has subscribed to PressDisplay for a number of years and it just keeps getting better.

There are more than 2,200 papers available from 92 countries in 54 languages, and growing.

Now, the library is pleased to offer free downloads to the PressReader app from within the library.

In the past, mobile access via PressReader was limited to individual paid subscribers, but it's now available to library users too.

You can download five free issues daily using the library's Wi-Fi connection and then read them anywhere you like.

The downloadable eBooks and eAudiobooks collections also have mobile apps.

Your Library Without Walls and Freading offer eBooks, and Your Library Without Walls and OneClick offers eAudiobooks.

Links for all of these other products are on the eLibrary page. For help, visit eLibrary Help at sites.google.com/site/ nwpldigitalbooks.

You can also email, phone, visit or use JustAsk to chat with a librarian (look for the chat box on the homepage).

By the way, if you haven't tried using an eReader yet, the library has 13 Kobo eReaders available to borrow. They are pre-loaded with eBooks in various "flavours."

Search Kobo in the library catalogue to see which ones are available and to place your hold.
