There's always plenty of interest in a Queen's Park character home, and this one was no exception - especially given its historical connection to a prominent New Westminster family.
There were five offers on the home, and technically it sold after 14 days on the market. However, the estate held off on offers until March 10, which means it actually sold in a day.

THE HIGHLIGHTS
The house has an important history in New Westminster, and this was the first time it has been on the market in 70 years, realtor Donna Tays wrote.
It was designed by Gardiner & Mercer and built in 1913 for Thomas D. Trapp, son of T.J. Trapp. The 4,525square-foot home is located on a 66-by-132-ft. lot and has high ceilings with exposed beams.
There is formal living room and dining room and wood floors, crown moulding, wainscoting and leaded-glass cabinets.
The home is close to the Uptown shopping, local schools and, of course, Queen's Park.
