The owner of a bronze statue is hoping for its safe return after it was stolen from a home in New Westminster’s West End.

According to a media release from the New Westminster Police Department, officers received a report on Jan. 24 that a bronze statue was stolen from a yard in the 1000 block of London Street.

“The statue was purchased over 20 years ago by the owner and has great sentimental value,” stated the release.
