New Westminster's networking group NEXT is hosting its second annual pub crawl this weekend and this year they're taking over Uptown.
Starting at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, the group will be meeting at the Thirsty Duck Pub at 606 12th St. to kick off the evening festivities. About an hour later they'll head over to the Moonrakers Pub at 525 Seventh St. and then over to Sixth Street around 8:15 p.m. to check out Rivers Reach Pub. The final pub on the crawl will be Clancy's Sports Bar at 140 Sixth St. and the group hopes to arrive there around 9:30 p.m.
"There will be a live band playing at Clancy's for those ready to get a little footloose," stated the press release.
The crawl is open to anyone over the age of 19 and people can stay for the whole event or only part of it.
