The New Westminster Police Department's major crime unit is looking into a drive-by shooting, which occurred in Queensborough early Monday morning.
Multiple rounds were fired at an apartment building in the 200-block of Salter Street early Monday, with bullets striking two suites.
According to Staff-Sgt. Paul Hyland, the incident is suspected to have been a targeted shooting, but police investigators do not believe the people in the two suites hit by the shots were the intended targets.
There were no injuries to anybody in the apartment building.
