New Westminster Chamber of Commerce recently announced the nominees for the Platinum Awards, which celebrate business, community and individual excellence in the city.
In the past, the New Westminster Chamber of Commerce has presented two separate event evenings recognizing this excellence in our community. These events in the past were known as COBE (Celebration of Business Excellence) and Citizen of The Year/Bernie Legge Cultural Award. This year, the chamber is hosting one gala celebration on Nov. 15.
"We are thrilled with the response to the Platinum Awards," New Westminster Chamber of Commerce president Andrew Hopkins said in a media release. "Our nominees have expressed their appreciation in how we are acknowledging their excellence and contributions in our business community."
