Juan de Fuca MLA John Horgan will be attending a rally with Metro Vancouver supporters on Sunday, March 23at 1:30 p.m. at the Inn at the Quay. Community members are invited to join Horgan and his team at the rally.

“He is smart, he is good on his feet, he knows the issues inside out,” said New Westminster MLA Judy Darcy. “He is a wonderful team builder. That is critical that someone is able to pull everyone together.”

Having worked closely with Horgan since being elected in the May 2013 provincial election, Darcy said she’s supporting his bid to be the NDP’s next leader.

“He is a wonderful communicator,” she said. “He is very strong on environmental proetcvti9on, which I support. He also recognizes the need for good familysupporting jobs. That is a balance we need to strike.”

Port Coquitlam MLA Mike Farnworth is the only other candidate who has put his name forward to seek the NDP leadership.

According to a press release, Horgan will introduce key members of his growing team at the rally and talk about his plans to inspire British Columbians with ideas to make life better for all B.C. families.
