New Westminster police have called off the search for a local man with sensitive health issues after he has turned up out of province.
Amarjit Dhaliwal, 60, was reported missing by his family Tuesday evening. According to New Westminster Sgt. Gary Weishaar, Dhaliwal was located Thursday morning at an airport in Ontario. Weishaar said he appears to be healthy and in fine spirits. Arrangements are now being made with the man's family, New Westminster police and Peel Regional Police in Ontario to bring him home.
