Mayor Wayne Wright confirmed with The Record on Thursday afternoon that he will be attending tonight's all-candidates meeting at the New Westminster Secondary School library at 7 p.m.
The debate, hosted by the New Westminster District Parent Advisory Council, is scheduled to feature the four mayoral candidates and 12 school trustee candidates.
Wright was not originally scheduled to appear at the debate, as a DPAC-produced candidate information package circulate on Nov. 8 notes for Wright: "Not attending; no information provided" for his profile information.
The debate will be facilitated by local lawyer Terry Hewitt and is scheduled to go from 7 to 10 p.m.
