A proposed project in the Connaught Heights neighbourhood will go to public hearing this month.
The city has received an application to rezone 2223 Ninth Ave. to allow for a single-detached dwelling, a secondary suite and a detached accessory building on the site. Council will consider the application at a public hearing in council chamber on Monday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m.
That same night, council will consider a rezoning and a development permit application related to 719 Colborne St., where the addition of two accessory buildings is being proposed. In addition to a secondary suite in the basement of the existing principal building, a second unit is proposed on the upper level of an existing detached accessory structure.
According to a staff report, the proposal includes limited changes to the exteriors of the buildings and has no additional floor space or massing.
