New West police searching for break and enter suspect

New Westminster police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a suspect in an October break and enter. On Oct. 15, officers responded to a break-in at an apartment building on 11th Street, according to a police department media release.

New Westminster police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a suspect in an October break and enter.

On Oct. 15, officers responded to a break-in at an apartment building on 11th Street, according to a police department media release. Investigators have since identified the suspect and are looking to the public to help locate him.

The New Westminster Police Department has issued a warrant for Howard Solomon O’Soup, 36, for allegedly breaking and entering. O’Soup is described as First Nations, 5’10” and weighs about 200 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes.

O’Soup is also wanted on an outstanding warrant for allegedly breaking and entering into an apartment in Langley.

Police are reminding the public not to approach O’Soup or attempt to take action themselves.
