A new school year is beginning in New Westminster under cool, partly cloudy skies — but more sun and heat is in the forecast.
It's just 13 C, with the sun beginning to poke through the clouds, as of about 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
But the new week promises sunnier, warmer weather as time goes on.
Wednesday is expected to hit a high of 20 C, with more partial cloud cover, while full sun is expected by Thursday, with a high of 21 C. Friday could see that creep up to 22 C, while we could hit a high of a full 25 C by Saturday — with continued sunshine.
