Memorial set for murdered youth

A memorial has been planned in memory of the 19-year-old boy who was killed in New Westminster in December.

It has been more than a month since Surrey resident Karim Meskine was beaten to death near the 22nd SkyTrain station, as The Recordpreviously reported.

On Wednesday, organizers of the Facebook page R.I.P Karim announced a memorial has been planned to remember the young man.

Meskine’s memory will be honoured at a memorial on Feb. 8, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at John Robson elementary in New Westminster.
