Man missing in New West: Noureddine is non-verbal and gets around in a wheelchair

New Westminster police are seeking the public's help in finding Noureddine, who is missing.

New Westminster police are seeking the public’s help in locating a high-risk missing person who was last seen near his home on Monday morning.

Noureddine, 63, was last seen leaving his residence near Glenbrook Ravine at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 20.

“Noureddine is non-verbal and a wheelchair user,” said a NWPD news release. “He is known to use public transit to move around the Metro Vancouver region.”

Noureddine is described as having a medium build, facial hair, and short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a dark sweater and dark jogging pants.

“We are asking the public to help us locate Noureddine,” said NWPD Sgt. Andrew Leaver. “His medical team is concerned for his well-being.”

New Westminster Police Department investigators ask that anyone who sees Noureddine to call 911 immediately.
