If you’re planning to use the Pattullo Bridge on Tuesday or Wednesday night, you’ll need to access it via Columbia Street.

The Pattullo Bridge replacement project team has announced that the southbound bridge connector will be closed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15 and Wednesday, Nov. 16 so Fraser Crossing Partners can conduct road maintenance work.

“While the southbound bridge connector is closed, drivers will be directed to use the Columbia Street loop-ramp via McBride Boulevard as shown in the graphic,” said a notice from the project team. “Detour signage will be in place.”

Once the southbound road work is complete, crews will then shift the work area to northbound bridge connector. The notice said that work will require single-lane closures; however, northbound traffic (heading to New Westminster) will be maintained at all times.

According to the notice, a small amount of hydrovaccing will be required and will be undertaken as soon as the closure is implemented to minimize local noise impacts.
