The Vancouver Builders' Association recently announced the finalists for the 2013 Ovation Awards, and a New Westminster company was nominated in several categories.
The awards, now in their fourth year, honour excellence in the design and construction of new single-family and multifamily homes, as well as the renovation of existing homes.
Local company Intermind Design Inc. was nominated in the Best Kitchen Renovation: Under $50,000; Best Accessible Renovation category; Best Condominium Renovation; and Best Renovation: Under $250,000. The company was also nominated in the Grand Ovation Awards.
The award winners will be announced at a gala event on Saturday, April 20.
"High-quality home building and renovation are hugely important to the homeowners of Metro Vancouver," Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association chief executive officer Bob de Wit said in a media release. "The Ovation Awards recognize the industry's leaders in innovation and excellence."
