The Fraser River Discovery Centre recently held its annual general meeting and elected two new directors to its board.
Tom Lively, president and CEO of Fraser River Pile and Dredge (GP) Inc., and Richard Babcock, vicepresident business development of Urban Wood Waste Recyclers/Harvest Power, were elected to the board.
As well, Stephen Bruyneel, principal of SB Communications and Public Affairs Ltd. was confirmed as vice-chair for the board of directors.
The Fraser River Discovery Centre is located near the River Market at the Quay.
The centre is dedication to the education and celebration of the Fraser River.
