The City of New Westminster has awarded a contract for design services related to the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
The hall of fame is currently located in Centennial Community Centre, but will be relocating to Anvil Centre when the new civic facility is built on Columbia Street. City council has awarded design consultant services contract for the fit-out of the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame (up to $67,570) to Public Architecture and Communication.
A staff report stated that preparation of design drawings and specifics to enable the exhibit construction work to be tendered must begin immediately in order to allow the hall of fame to open at the same time as other facilities in Anvil Centre.
