Christmas may be a time of gathering, giving and celebrating for many community members, but it’s also a time where many folks are in need.
Since 1996, the Record has published a Guide to Giving to inform community members about the needs of various non-profit groups in New Westminster so they’re able to spread a little cheer over the holidays. Groups helping people, animals and other causes are often in need of donations of cash or other items and volunteers at Christmas – and beyond.
The guide will run in the Record in December.
Non-profits wanting to be included in this year’s Guide to Giving should provide a short overview of their organization and the items on their wishlist to reporter Theresa McManus by 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at tmcmanus@newwestrecord.ca or 604-444-3003.
